Do have to say the ZF 8HP is a mighty fine auto box. Felt very nice in the 528xi I drove.

Felt pretty good in the 320i loaner I had. Still, would much rather have a 6MT, unless its something like a 7.

Well considering the F10 I drove was almost the size of an E38... 3-inches shorter and the wheelbase is in between the SWB and LWB versions.

I have a saved carmax search that shows me all the green BMWs. If I was in a different position , I might have had to buy this. If you’re not worried about running costs, this would be a great commuter.

I’ve driven a couple F10s, they do feel on the larger side, but then you could get a manual in the E38, albeit not in the North American market.

I might make that same search lol. I really want a GT car next. Needs to fit 4 people with weekend bags, be able to cruise 5 hours comfortably at a high rate of speed, be fun on any back road detours , and look good when you arrive at your destination. A Maserati GranTurismo would be perfect, but I am scared of running costs lol. I think 400 HP would be about perfect, mid 3's might work as well. Mostly because I really like the S4/5 haha. I’m leaning towards an xf supercharged even though I would rather have a big coupe.
